Music Monday: Wrecking Ball Parody by Jay-Jay, Mike, and Dom

Music MondayIt’s Music Monday time! I used to listen to music religiously, avidly, hungrily! That is until I fell ill with M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelities) and couldn’t listen to anything. It would give me a headache and send my senses into overload. Understandably, I avoided music for a long time.

Now I can listen to it more, but have trouble multi-tasking while it’s on. I will make my ears listen though. Oh they will! Here’s me sharing my favourite songs for the past two weeks. Enjoy!

__________

Why I Love it: I can’t handle it anymore! When I listen to music it’s usually Triple J, something on my Mac/iPod, or PopAsia. It’s not Top 40. Still, I have Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus stuck in my head often these days. That song is everywhere and I can’t get away from it. It’s driving me insane!

Thankfully I can get a bit of relief because the lyrics get swapped out with this parody and I end up with ‘I’m riding on a wrecking ball, not wearing any clothes at all…‘ instead. Just a little relief. With the lyrics swapped out I end up with images of these guys in my head and I’m highly amused. It saves my sanity.
